Voice Blast the Right Way
By Hitman | August 23, 2008
Send a voice blast out to your clients. Don’t annoy them.
Fix the voice blast so it leaves a message on their voicemail. Leave them some valuable tips on what to do to prepare. Show them you care enough to leave them a personal message.
Say something like, “Hi, this is John from Premium Carpet Care. I just wanted to call and let you know Tropical Storm Fay is expected to come our way tomorrow around noon. It’s going to bring a lot of rain. If you have any problems with your roof leaking or water getting in your home, don’t worry. It can often be dried out. Your house can be saved from mold and wood rot if you act quickly. Give us a call if we can help. You can reach us at 474-1133.”
Be very conversational about the way you record the message. I’m
not a big advocate of voice blasting. You don’t want to tick your
clients off. But if you use it at the right time it can make a
huge impact.
I can’t claim ownership to this idea. My friend Don DeLeeuw told
me about this.

Good information about the proper way to send out a voice blast. I try to limit the voice blast to about 4 times a year. That seems to work the best for us.
