Email Marketing Tips and Ideas

By Hitman | February 26, 2010

No joke.

Most cleaners don’t do this.

The cheapest way to keep in touch is with email.  But there are a few key tricks to doing this the best way.

I’ve just put up an 8 minute audio clip from a recent Internet Marketing Class.

  • Hear how to get your client’s email addresses
  • Find out when it’s “legal” to email prospects and clients
  • How to get permission to email your clients and prospects

Hi John. Thank you for all the valuable info. Even what you had sent me before I purchased the internet course. It was so helpful.
I have been colecting e mail addresses now with every person that calls to book a job.
My question is, What about a typical layout for this email special. Are you going to post it for us ? Thanks, Brian.

I’m thinking about purchasing a local list of email addresses. Is this a good idea and what should I say in the email?

Absolutely. Some template would be a good idea. There are already a couple in the Internet Marketing Course, but more would be a good idea.

Mike, it depends on how you’re doing the local email. I wouldn’t purchase a list and send it from my own email. This would be from someone they don’t know and perceived as spam. Instead, try to get a mailing list from a reputable source like the Chamber of Commerce or other local organization and have them send the email for you. This is much more expensive but worth it. Simply purchasing a mailing list would be cheap, but ineffective and could even harm your reputation if perceived as spam.

I also have loved your stuff, very valuable!
Is it a good idea to give a quote via email? If you price by sq ft what is the best way to do this?

    Thanks,
    Nick

Should I make an offer in my newsletter? Should I give a percentage off or what?
